About Me

I have always had an interest in photography. something I probably picked up from my father. Mum hates her photo taking and my brother was not interested either so I was usually a good subject for dads interest in photography and I learnt the basics from him.

On leaving college with a B/Tech in graphic design I had decided that was not to be the path I wished to take as my interest in photography had grown.

So off I went with a very tiny portfolio to a studio in Leeds. They liked my work, but wanted me to do more studio work and go back with a larger portfolio. Sadly I only managed to work in the developing side of photography from there.

Anyone who knows that trade knows how poorly paid the workers are so I never had the money for studio time, then bought a house and that was that!ha

At the moment I am trying different subject matters as I have nothing I wish to specialise in. Basically I'm just having some fun with my camera and hassling friends and pets. :-)

I've just saved up for a digital slr so looking forward to playing with that.
